Why Coral Tickets

Same ticketing. Better for music.

  • Music lifts music.

After checkout, each buyer directs part of their booking charge to an artist on wearecoral. Tickets to your shows lift other artists. Tickets to theirs lift you.

  • Same or lower fees.

Your fans pay an ordinary booking charge, in line with other ticketing sites.

  • Nothing missing.

Publish in two steps, attendee lists, sales, payouts in full. The same tools you have now, with reciprocity built in.

The idea

Music belongs to all of us.

It only thrives when we look after it together.

Coral Tickets is built so music lifts music. You keep the ticket revenue, and the buyer directs 51% of every booking charge, after transaction costs, to an artist on wearecoral. That artist could be you.

A social enterprise

Where the money goes.

  • More than half of every booking charge, after transaction costs, goes to an artist. The rest runs Coral Tickets.

  • 51% of profits go back into music.

  • Every contribution is published in our public contribution report, so you can see where the money goes.

Straight answers

Questions hosts ask.

An artist on wearecoral, chosen by the buyer, or assigned at random to an artist fans back on wearecoral. wearecoral is an artist-backing platform where fans back the artists they love with one monthly contribution. An artist can receive contributions while fans back them and their payouts are set up, so it may or may not be an artist on your bill.

Paid tickets do, with one exception: buyers who already back artists on wearecoral pay a reduced booking charge with no separate artist contribution, since they back artists every month. Free tickets have no booking charge.

Publishing is free. Buyers pay the booking charge on top of your ticket price, and you receive 100% of your ticket revenue. The artist contribution comes from the booking charge, never from your takings.

An artist is eligible once they're backed on wearecoral and set up to receive payouts. To start, create a coral that includes them. We'll let them know contributions are waiting. They finish a short payout setup, and from then on they receive ticket contributions too.

Monthly. Once the event has passed, your contribution joins Coral's artist payout alongside regular monthly contributions.

wearecoral is a community that backs music as art, not product. Members build a coral, their personal collection of artists they back with one monthly contribution, sustaining their work and the music we love. It provides artists with recurring income alongside streaming, touring, and physical sales.

For artists

Share in every show.

Tickets to your shows lift other artists, and tickets to theirs can lift you. Create your artist page on wearecoral: while fans back you and your payouts are set up, part of any booking charge can go to you.
